Sometimes in life deciding not to choose is perhaps the most extreme and dangerous choice that man can make. It becomes what you are, writes Nietzsche, but how can you come to be something through becoming? The question is not easy to resolve, but in principle it is believed that the subjective construction of the ego depends, on the one hand, on the innate attitudes and natural predispositions of the individual and, on the other, from the surrounding events that occur, verify and over which he has no control. Yet between these two positions it is necessary to consider another element that can make the difference: the choice.
The choice made once influences all the following ones in a more or less permanent way, constantly delineating the structuring of the personality. It could be a last chance, decisive but also necessary..
In fact, the non-choice translates most of the time in the eventuality to leave to others the decision that is up to us or, worse, to leave to the case even the events that we are able to control.
